Princeton NJ

Instructor: Alan Kesselhaut

The limitation of the camera to capture a scene as we see it with our eyes is a challenge faced by every photographer. High Dynamic Range photography is a set of techniques that allow the photographer to more accurately depict the range of intensity levels in real scenes, from direct sunlight to faint night light. In the class, we'll learn how to use Photomatix and NIK software to merge multiple frames together and then use Photoshop Layers for a final image that captures what moved us to take the photo in the first place.

Laptop required.

"Both content and presentation was simple and to the point leaving you to decide how to process with your photographic agenda." Ralph
"His presentation was geared to the audience and his interactive responses were appropriate and helpful.. He is not only knowledgeable but willing to share his practical "how to do" information. He also showed what does not work, saving the novice learning time." Jay
"I drove all the way to Princeton from the George Washington bridge to take an HDR class. Alan is an expert at HDR and the class was totally worth the trip.  I learned so much about software programs I was already using and those I hadn't tried yet.  My post-processing work has definitely improved as a result of that class!!   In addition to the excellent instruction, it's also great to mingle to with other photographers of various levels."
