Ages 13 – 17, Beginner - Advanced

20 Library Place, Princeton, NJ

July 24 - August 4, 2017
9:00am - 1:00pm daily

Princeton Photo Workshop’s Summer Photo Camp gives enthusiastic young photographers the opportunity to practice the fundamentals of digital photography while exploring their creative expression and enjoyment of photography.
Working with their own digital cameras, teens receive personalized, field-based and class instruction on how to improve their photography. In the classroom and on location, our experienced instructors and professional photographers explain the use of light, composition and camera settings. Like real professional photographers, we will shoot outdoors and in a professional studio set-up, exploring lighting options and composition techniques while giving each camper lots of personal attention. In Week 2, students engage in hands-on work, learning to organize and enhance their images using Adobe Lightroom® and Adobe Photoshop®.

"...On-location shooting, thanks to the great teaching and care for each individual's progress (loved the camper to instructor ratio); the instructors were very friendly and hold deep knowledge that they shared with us. Loved the camp! As a camper, I appreciated the warm and patient help of the instructors and it was one of the highlights of my summer. I will continue to be involved with Princeton Photo Workshop going forward." Alex

"Re-energized my interest in photography. Showed me how much more I can do with my photographs. Really enjoyed the week. Would absolutely take more Workshop classes. " Andrew

"I really enjoyed where we got to walk on the street and around Princeton University, to see different perspectives of things and learn how to see and pick out photography compositions, to make our picture good and go back to make them even better in Lightroom and Photoshop." Daisy

"Can't thank you enough for what your workshop has done for our kid (In fact, he went to school today with his favorite tee shirt on - the Photo Workshop)." Beth
